Development Program Now In Place
These are exciting times for indoor cricket with programs now in place to give players and officials defined pathways to reach their goals. Indoor Sports Western Australia, in conjunction with Indoor Cricket Australia are pleased to announce the appointment of Kacey King as the WA Development Officer. Primarily the goal of the program is to increase participation of indoor cricket at a grass roots level in both males and females. We aim to achieve this by working closely with our member centres and the schools in their surrounding areas to raise awareness of the sport in children.
School Clinics, Multi-Sport Days, School Round Robin Competitions and Talent Identification Camps will be run at various times throughout the year with program descriptions and nominations forms being available from the links on the right of screen.
In addition, umpiring and coaching accreditation courses will be run throughout the year in an attempt to increase the standard of officiating in Indoor Cricket – See Umpiring and Coaches page for more information.
Talent identification clinics expose children to quality coaching in an attempt to further their skills and knowledge of the game of indoor cricket.
Multi-Sport Days are the perfect way to introduce your school to the variety of indoor sports that centres in WA offer.
School clinics are now being conducted in both primary and secondary schools.
