This is a post for all the true fans of the western wolves.

We lost our first two games to ACT and QLD. We were 10 runs away from being out of the competition in the third game. Victoria needed 10 runs to win from their last pair. To our credit we found the extra gear and won a very very tight game.

The next game we played NSW and we posted a massive 147 and again it was a very close game. It came down to the last 2 overs. We put up a great batting display in another cruical game.

We then played SA were we posted around 90 and again they needed about 25 from the last two pairs. This game saw Ty Hopes pull a hamstring and the wolves lifted to keep the 3rd pair to nothing. A solid game from Sammy Siddle-Barnes.

North Queensland was next and they put up a great fight. We played a steady game but again we were knowwhere close to playing our best indoor cricket. We held them off in a close game.

Next was NT were we posted roughly 150 however two of our skins were less than 25. It came down to a David Hanking over were they were 26 chasing a skin of 21. David Took 3 wickets in this over to steal the skin for the wolves. We needed all 7 pionts from this game and we got them.

NSW Cyclones was next and we wanted all 7 pionts from this game to set us up for finals. We played a great game here which was a well fought out game. We won 7-0.

We finished 2nd overall and played QLD in the major game of the day. We held them to 90 odd and we were crusiing after two pairs. The 3rd pair found it tough and came out on 3. We then needed 45 to win from the last pair. They came extremly close but we did end up losing.

We then played ACT who drew with NQLD but moved through to the next round. We kept them to 66 which was a great effort. We held off a strong fought win. Our last pair went in only needing 5 runs.

Grand Final day and we were up against QLD. We had not beat them all week but lost two close games without playing our best indoor cricket. We bolwed first and had a shocking first pair. They were 38 after 4 overs. We kept them to 83. We batted First and Danny Mac and I (BEAR) made a solid 41 to start Danny simply amazing. Then Hopesy and Stiff made a great 45. Game was all but over. Nicko and Bindi entered and smashed 70 to tear the hearts out of QLD. THe last pair made -11 but the game was well and truely over.

I would like to thank Rocket and Jenko for all there hard work and preparation. It was well worth it guys.

apparently “goat” says that WA are a bunch of Marshmellows. never knew Marshmellows could play indoor cricket so well. what does that make QLD if WA are marshmellows?

Just had word thru that the mighty WA StatePants won the GF against QLD by a considerable margin. Nicko and Bindi have rumoured to have posted a partnership of 70!!

Congrats to the boys and their Pants.

Im sure we will get a few updates hopefully over the next few days

And im sure “Goat” may even have some words too…..maybe???
