I finally made it in I feel so special! This forum used to be so hard to get into I feel I deserve special pants that Ican wear when writing on here. Then maybe someone can make a topic about who can and cant wear those pants…(insert kevin rudd laugh).
There is a new suburb being developed in Perth called Barron. I am subsequently making a new superleage team called the barron brawlers anyone interested?

Hopesy
Glad to see we are roughly on the same page with this one. Now will the others see the light, as you have?
I mentioned that I would not sit behind a screen and sledge, that wasnt having a dig at you, or the others that are “known”, its just my reasoning that by staying relatively unknown, i shouldnt say things that i wouldnt say under my real name and hide under this one, with little or no consequences. when something needs to be said, you can be assured that my real name will appear, otherwise just throwing a few ideas/topics around is my only purpose.
I will see you at the Jnr Nats and i will buy you a drink.

I'm not the one having a go at you behind a screen, obviously you know who i am, i wouldn't have a clue who you are, so who's hiding?
I agree to what you have said about the statepants, i thought you were having a go at me and the other guys in the state mens team who wear our statepants in mid week comps? as Jd said they are designed for indoor cricket thats why i wear them, i dont own any old trackies. Thats why i wear them. I agree their are loads of nuff's who wear them and i wouldnt have a clue who they are. but it's impossible for us to say stop wearing them your not allowed. so just ignore the nuffs that wear them, it bothers me too when some idiots get absolutely burnt in super league and continuly wear them week in week out.
But yeah you do have a fair point mate. by the way who are you? i really dont know.

Well nice to see someone who has a strong opinion and obvious pride in the Pants. ThankYou JD for adding to my point. Do you think all players wearing the pants, have/show the same level of pride in the pants as you?
As i said in a previous post, i never mentioned names, but the people playing A grade arent the people i had in mind when posting my thoughts.
Players such as yourself, Hopesy Nicko Bindi are class players and the reputations proceed you on many occasions. Therefore people know you are mucking around, and i for one dont expect the maybe top 3 players in Oz play to that standard in midweek cricket.
I was thinking more of the B and C graders.
If me and my nuffy mates walk into a centre, see you wearing the same pants as some bloke who just got bowled 5 times, would it be a miss of me to presume that you guys are in the same state team??
I would think not? Then it wouldnt be too hard for nuffy inc to presume that while there are some class players in the state side, theres still a few idiots. Which was my original point!!
Its how new potential future state players/onlookers to the IC game perceive it all. Not the people who know the class players, like myself.
This is what im trying to say, the pants are for the highest level, a brotherhood if u will, and if one of the “brothers” is making/advertising the team to look bad for the rest of you guys, surely isnt it time for getting back into line??
As for having ago at a perceived lack of training, it wasnt a sledge at you guys. It was posted in relation to the other state sides being picked 8mths ahead of the tourney. The WA team is picked at the airport as you have just posted, and like you also mention have made 3 GFs in doing that. Congrats! What would you rather,8mths training and not even making the GF or 3Gfs and a Nat Champs doing it the way WA does??
I will in NO WAY attack/sledge people/players who are doing good for the game of IC in this state.
I am a lover of the sport for over 25 years, and have seen it go from a 2 tier SL set up, with places like Champs, Cockburn, Alexander Park, Indoor Cricket City and DrakeSt packed to the rafters, to now, basically a barely there, same four teams in finals every year competition, that no one is really interested in staying back and supporting.
Its obvious JD is passionate, but hopefully he and others (Hopesy),will see where i am coming from,,,, for the good of the game, NOT to have ago at people from behind a screen.
I await the onslaught….USB

Umpirestrikesback sounds like the biggest nuffy ever.
Who gives a shit who wears state pants and who doesnt wear state pants. Im our mid week side we have 7 state players 5 of which have all represented Australia at some stage. We have won 2 - 5 games at midweek level cause we are there to have fun and not compete for sheep stations. Most people wear state pants because they are made for indoor cricket. It has nothing to do with how people play in mid week cricket or super league. If you have a problem with our team having fun during the week, im sure we can arrange for you are your nuffy critics to come down and give us a game. I for one dont wear state pants during the week or super league as i dont intend to dive around. It's people like you that have a go at the state guys saying we dont train and dont deserve the state kit, how about you assholes come down and try out if you think you are good enough. Easy to call people chockers from the sidelines you nuffy.
If you think that we only go away cos we are the only people that want to then you can come down and give us a game im pretty sure our record speaks for itself.
3 years as the western wolves and 3 grand finals!!! Stop talking shit and come play us!!!!

When aristos isn't banging balls up into the wire and calling no, his time is spent driving badger around in a minibus, sleeping on the floor and headbutting bedroom furniture.

Think you just can't read or your attention to detail isn't very high (much like your IQ). Na wasn't me that choked, second highest partnership doesn't constitute as choking. when will we get to see you in the net or is there a reason why you don't play and just appear to know stuff about cricket?

Well, when i wrote this post, i did not have any player/s in mind, it was just a general observation/opinion on where i thought this sport was letting itself down.
But this Aristos bloke, he could be a candidate! By the sounds of it, hes a state shirt/pants combo kind of guy, yeah??
And Aristos, yes i do own a pair of 'Pants!
